🔺A least 200 million women and girls alive today undergone female genital mutilation/cutting (FGM) in 30 countries. Majority of girls were cut before age 5. FGM is a cutting or removal of some or all external female reproductive parts. 目前有30個國家，最少有二億名女性及少女被進行殘割女性生殖器（FGM)。大多數的女孩在5歲前就會被殘割女性生殖器
🔺Nearly 1 out of every 5 girls who enrolls in primary school does not complete her primary education in the developing world. 在發展中國家中，每5個能入讀小學的女孩中，有1個不能完成課程
🔺By sending a girl to school, she is far more likely to ensure that her children also receive an education (decrease infant and maternal mortality, decrease child marriage etc)通過給予女孩上學的機會，便更有可能會讓她將來的孩子也接受教育，也同樣能降低嬰兒和產婦死亡率，減少童婚等的問題。
🔺If you keep a girl in school, she will most likely be less prone to violence and sexual attacks. 如果你把女孩送到學校，就能減少她受到暴力及性侵犯的機會
